Hilton is a Gisborne-based, Registered Farm Management Consultant whose professional career spans 40 years.

Hilton grew up on in heartland Ngati Porou where land is viewed through a Whenua, Whanau and Whakapapa lens.


Hilton's large networks were an important source of regional intelligence during Cyclone Gabrielle providing valuable intelligence to inform responders and to coordinate the distribution of supplies including stock feed and fencing materials in the aftermath of the floods.


Hilton is the CEO of the Tairawhiti Whenua Collective  who collectively own more 200,000 ha of farming, forestry and conservation lands.
