Get ready to apply soon for the 2023 Zanda McDonald Award

On Monday 1st August you'll have the opportunity to apply for the award through zandamcdonaldaward.com

Applications open on Monday 1 August and close on Wednesday 31 August 2022 at 5pm NZ time. Late entries will not be accepted - so please don't leave your application to the last minute!

You can get a head start by preparing now. You’ll be required to submit the following online:

· Write a short bio telling us in about 80 words your name, current role, what you do, your proudest achievement and your hobbies or interests.

· Write a maximum of 250 words telling us how you would benefit from a tailored mentoring package, where you would like to be in your career in five years, what you are involved in now that shows leadership and/or influence, and how you would be a fitting ambassador for this award.

· Prepare a short video clip (max 100MB). In this you will need to say your name and job/role at the beginning, then briefly explain what you do, what you love about your industry, and how you are making your mark. Your video is to be no longer than one minute in total. Note that video from a mobile device is fine - no fancy graphics or editing required, but what you say IS important. Make sure what you say has an impact - this is your first chance to make an impression on the judges and we'd suggest you practice to get this right!

· You have the option of including three supporting documents in your applications (max 10MB per file) . The more information to support your application the better and one of these documents should be your CV/resume.

If relevant, you’ll also need to talk with your employer for consent to enter this award, as the award winner will require time off work for the trans-Tasman mentoring trip, and to attend specific events as an ambassador for the award.
