Jacques Reinhardt

2023 NZ Finalist

Jacques is general manager of Horizon Farming in the Hawkes Bay, 80000su, with 9000 total hectares over 6 farms on the east coast of the north island,  running sheep, beef and deer.

He annually breeds 28000 ewes and finishes 30000 lambs, and breeds 1600 cows and finishes around 3000 head of cattle.

Jacques is a 2023 NZ Award finalist and has a strong passion for the industry with particular interest around genetics, farm systems, tech and leadership and team culture.

He was previously the manager at Castlepoint Station and an Agribusiness consultant at BakerAg NZ.
