Rhys Roberts

Rhys is the CEO of Align Farms, a vertically integrated dairy business operating ten farms across Mid-Canterbury, milking around 5,000 cows and engaged across the full supply chain from farm to consumer.

Under his leadership, Align has grown into a high-performing agribusiness known for operational excellence, commercial innovation, and a strong people-first culture - including the development of Align Foods, a consumer foods business with its own dairy manufacturing facility and brands sold into retail.

Rhys was the New Zealand winner of the 2022 Zanda McDonald Award. He joins the Board with a genuine understanding of what the programme means for emerging leaders - and a commitment to helping shape the next generation of Australasian agribusiness talent.
