Applications - Terms & Conditions
By submitting an application for the Zanda McDonald Award, applicants agree to the following terms and conditions:

Applicants must complete all required sections of the application form.

All information provided as part of the application must be true, accurate and complete.

Shortlisted applicants and finalists may be required to participate in marketing, promotional and media activities associated with the Award.

Finalists consent to the use of their name, photograph, biography and application-related information for promotional purposes relating to the Award.

Applicants may be invited or required to participate in media opportunities as part of representing the Award.

Applicants must not contact judges directly regarding their application or the judging process once their application has been submitted.

The Board of the Zanda McDonald Award reserves the right to make the final decision on all Award outcomes. All decisions are final, and no correspondence or negotiation will be entered into.

The Award prize package is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.

The Zanda McDonald Award reserves the right to amend elements of the prize package at its discretion. Any changes will be replaced with an alternative component of equal or greater value.

Applicants must be aged 21–35 years as at midnight on 31 October in the year of application, and actively engaged within the primary industries sector in Australia or New Zealand.

Applicants must be residents of Australia or New Zealand. Individuals connected to the wider Zanda McDonald Award network may apply; however, any personal relationship with a judge, Board member or Award partner (sponsor) must be disclosed as part of the application process.

Unless otherwise stated, the prize package must be utilised within 12 months of being awarded.

Successful applicants agree to undertake ambassador responsibilities on behalf of the Zanda McDonald Award, including representing the Award at relevant industry events and activities where required.

Finalists and winners are responsible for the content they publish, or have published, on social media. Applicants should use good judgement when associating their personal profiles with the Zanda McDonald Award. All social media activity should be respectful, truthful and considerate of others.

Applications must be submitted by 11:59pm New Zealand time on 31 October. Late applications will not be accepted.
