Nicholas van den Berg

Nicholas (34) is a South Australian first-generation farmer whose career spans outdoor education, abattoirs, feedlots, full-time shearing, agency, and AgTech. He helped develop eating-quality technology at MEQ Probe before bringing a fresh perspective to livestock agency with Platinum Livestock. A long-standing contributor to the ICMJ and SA Junior Heifer Expo, Nicholas is deeply committed to the Australian goat industry, supplying Adelaide wholesalers and running a seedstock operation with his wife in Keith. Passionate about industry leadership and succession, he drives new ideas, mentors young professionals, and continues to build innovative, future-focused businesses across the red-meat sector.
