Felicity Taylor - AUS
Felicity Taylor, aged 29, is the Area Manager for Moree at Rabobank Australia.
She grew up on a cropping property where her parents instilled in her the values of hard work and humility. Felicity finds socioeconomics fascinating and combines this interest with her passion for farming when choosing a career in agribusiness banking. She feels privileged to build close bonds with local families, assisting them in enhancing their resilience and wealth. Community is of great importance to her, and she derives the most joy from connecting with others, often through sport and volunteering.
In recent years, Felicity has had the privilege of providing leadership in two primary areas. Firstly, in the finance sector, where she became the youngest person in Rabobank's history to be appointed as Area Manager, taking charge of the country’s largest rural branch three years ago. Secondly, in the Moree community, she has played a key role in several successful initiatives aimed at injecting a sense of fun and togetherness into the town.
In five years, Felicity hopes to continue climbing the corporate ladder from regional Australia. She would love the opportunity to meet others who have forged similar paths before her, as she seeks inspiration on how to push herself professionally without sacrificing the rural lifestyle she cherishes.
Alongside her professional aspirations, Felicity is also keen to see better outcomes for grassroots leadership. She believes in the importance of effective leadership at all levels of cooperation, whether that be within local councils, sporting clubs, or grower groups, in order to support the longevity and vitality of those involved and the broader community. Felicity would love to see examples from outside her district of towns or groups that have come together to bring out the best in each other with the resources available to them
