
Harriet Bremner

Harriet is a farmer at Jericho Station, Southland, with her husband Edward. Jericho is a 1500ha property that runs Angus Cattle and Perendale sheep along with dairy support for the cows off their Riverton farm.
She is a rural children's book author, and the founder and director of Gurt and Pops Ltd. She is also a health, safety and well-being advocate for agriculture working on her 'Think Safe Brain Campaign' within rural primary schools.
She received the 2021 Rural Women NZ Rural Champion Award and is passionate about flipping health and safety on its head and targeting farmers through using children as advocates for changes in behaviour in a practical way that will save lives.
Outside of daily farming life, Harriet and Ed love to hunt their horses during the winter months with the Birchwood Hunt and are both passionate pilots who use the plane to get from A to B!
