Becks is a rural mixed-practice veterinarian by trade, but also mother of two young girls, business partner in a 700ha Sheep, Beef and Deer farm, and director of The Whole Story, a social enterprise focused on agricultural sustainability. Becks is an alumni of the Agri-Women's Development Trust Escalator programme. Her hobbies include running, skiing, mountain-biking and spending quality time with friends and family.

Current employer and role: Farm Enterprise Consultant, KPMG 

 

Genevieve is part of the KPMG Farm Enterprise team based in Ashburton, providing financial management and strategy support to a range of family farming businesses. 
 
She is very proud of her facilitation work with four Action Network Groups for farmers, and enjoys being outside and being creative.

Current employer and role: Chief Executive, Pouarua Farms

 

Currently residing on the Hauraki Plains, Jenna is the Chief Executive for Pouarua Farms, an iwi owned mixed farming operation spread across 2,200ha and 10 farms. 
Jenna is charged with growing the business and has embarked on strategic diversifications in to alternate land use.  She was also appointed to the Dairy Women’s Network board in 2020. Jenna has vast experience in large corporate farming enterprises from Waikato to Southland. Jenna is married with two young children.

Lives: Masterton, Wairarapa

Current employer and role: Farm Consultant, Baker Ag

 

Sam is a farm consultant at BakerAg in the Wairarapa, working alongside farmers who are keen to improve and better their farm operations. He is passionate about upskilling young people in the industry and is proud to have established a mentoring group to develop farm managers and agricultural professionals in the Wairarapa.  

Samuel is a family man, a keen fisherman and an occasional hunter.
